It's our anniversary and you have decided to cook us both a romantic dinner together once I get home from work. Working as a lab technician at some sort of high tech research facility I accidentally spill or come in contact with some sort of chemicals. My boss has ordered me to clean the mess that you've created and threatens to fire me if I leave before it's done. Unfortunately, this will mean that I will not be home on time for dinner with you.

As the only person still at the lab I try and call my husband to inform him that I will be late. He is too busy making preparations to pick up dinner stuff so all I reach is his voice mail. While at first the messages are to simply update my husband on my situation I soon begin to notice my clothes getting tighter as my body undergoes a spectacular metamorphosis. With the final message being me just about to erupt from the tight confines of the lab as I, both metaphorically and physically, outgrow my job. The last thing that can be heard are my giant foot falls as I make my way home for my anniversary.
